Meg and Milly.
Meg Rodden’s life changed when her labradoodle, Milly, started coming to school with her. She gained so much confidence that she stood up in front of the whole assembly to talk about her dog, reducing her mother to tears.
Meg says it’s really nice having someone she can always trust to be with her. Milly is trained to bark when Meg has a seizure and not stop until help arrives. As most of Meg’s seizures happen during the night, this means her mother can now sleep easy.
In a dream job for both, Milly now joins Meg at her front-of-house café job, snoozing quietly under the desk while she works.
